CONE BEAM - AWARENESS IN THREE DIMENSIONS

Cone Beam technology is taking dentistry by storm. From its uses in placing implants to oral surgery to orthodontics, this technology allows the clinician to know more about a patient's anatomy than any other imaging modality. This lecture will explore the basics of Cone Beam imaging and why it is an important adjunct to the modern dental practice. Dr Fine will also present a few of his actual cases where treatment planning in 3D helped him achieve better outcomes.

Dr. Derek Fine, DMD Dr. Derek Fine, DMD graduated from the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey in 1987, and has been in private practice for 18 years with Alan Steiner, DMD, in Denville, New Jersey. He is a fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, and a member of the Academy of Laser Dentistry, the Academy of Comprehensive Esthetics, the American Dental Association, and the Tri-County Dental Society. He has completed advanced training in Neuromuscular Dentistry & Occlusion at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies.
