In this course, Dr. Michael A. Miyasaki will discuss various communication tools, including the SMILE guide, models, photographs, HIP, ads and Symmetry bite

He will explain how to communicate factors like the length of centrals, surface texture and translucency. He will discuss various materials, including Feldspathic, ERIS, Pressed, Lava and Cercon; the effects of ingots; the fabrication of pressed ceramic restorations. He will also discuss gingival blend, body color, the effect of porcelain thickness, the effect of cements, impressions, soft tissue models, and solid model fit. Tissue control using lasers, expasyl, Superoxyl, and Cord will be discussed, as well as diagnostic wax-up, reduction copings, preparation guides, bite registration stents, soft tissue recontouring, bite management and larger cases.
