This is a four-part course presented by Dr. Michael Pikos.



Course fee: $199.00

The first part is a live surgical demonstration that will cover procedures for rehabilitating implant patients with poor quality bone, limited bone availability, and complicated cases utilizing the most current techniques used in implant dentistry today to provide for long-term success.

The second part, on hard tissue grafting techniques, will cover comprehensive biomechanical principles that dictate bone grafting surgical protocols; the necessary steps to successfully place implants into patients with compromised hard and soft tissue anatomy; the biology of mandibular block grafts and sinus grafts; mandibular block grafts for horizontal and vertical alveolar ridge augmentation in the anterior and posterior maxilla and mandible; and recipient site development and staging of mandibular block grafts, sinus grafts and implant placement.

The third part will cover soft tissue grafting techniques, including alloderm, CTG and FGG.

In the fourth part of the course, common complications and solutions will be reviewed, including how to avoid complications in he first place; what we can learn from errors; how they can be fixed; and pink porcelain.
